These Terms govern your use of LICENA ("LICENA", "we", "us"), operated by LICENA LLC, a California limited liability company (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
LICENA is a study and practice tool with exam-style practice questions and study guides for licensing exams. LICENA is not a school, is not accredited, and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or approved by the CSLB, the DMV, the EPA, OSHA or Cal/OSHA, NICET, any state licensing board or government agency, or any exam administrator (such as PSI). Agency names are used only to identify the exams the materials help you study for. We do not administer exams and do not guarantee that you will pass any exam. Content is for general study and information only and is not legal, financial, or professional advice. Rules, fees, and procedures change and can vary by state and city — always verify with the official source.
You agree not to: share your account or credentials; copy, scrape, resell, or redistribute our questions, guides, or other content; reverse-engineer or disrupt the Service; or use it unlawfully.
The Service and its content (other than third-party or official source materials it references) are owned by LICENA or its licensors and are protected by law. We grant you a personal, non-transferable license to use the Service for your own exam preparation. Underlying laws, codes, and government materials remain in the public domain.
Your content. If you submit a review or send us a message, you confirm it is yours and lawful, and you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use it to operate and promote the Service — approved reviews may be displayed publicly together with the name and city you provide. We may decline or remove user content at our discretion; to request removal of your review, contact us.
The Service is in beta and provided free of charge while in beta. Features may change, and content is being actively updated.
This section will be finalized before any paid feature is offered. When paid plans launch, the checkout will clearly disclose the price, billing period, and whether the plan renews automatically; you will affirmatively agree to those terms before being charged; you will receive a confirmation; and you will be able to cancel online at any time. Refund terms will be stated at checkout. We will comply with applicable subscription and auto-renewal laws.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the content is complete, current, or error-free, or that use of the Service will result in passing any exam.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, LICENA will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any decision you make based on the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the claim (or, during the free beta, USD $50).
We may suspend or terminate access for violation of these Terms. You may stop using the Service and request account deletion at any time.
We may update the Service and these Terms. For material changes we will post a notice on the site or email account holders, and the "Last updated" date above will change. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Before filing any claim, you agree to contact us first and give us 30 days to try to resolve the issue informally. Any dispute not resolved informally shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California, and both parties consent to their jurisdiction; either party may instead bring an eligible claim in small claims court.
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in effect. These Terms are the entire agreement between you and LICENA regarding the Service.

Usted acepta no: compartir su cuenta o credenciales; copiar, extraer (scraping), revender o redistribuir nuestras preguntas, guías u otro contenido; realizar ingeniería inversa o interrumpir el Servicio; ni usarlo de forma ilegal.
El Servicio y su contenido (excepto los materiales de terceros o de fuentes oficiales que referencia) son propiedad de LICENA o sus licenciantes y están protegidos por la ley. Le otorgamos una licencia personal e intransferible para usar el Servicio en su propia preparación de exámenes. Las leyes, códigos y materiales gubernamentales subyacentes permanecen en el dominio público.
Su contenido. Si envía una reseña o nos envía un mensaje, confirma que es suyo y lícito, y nos otorga una licencia no exclusiva y libre de regalías para usarlo con el fin de operar y promover el Servicio; las reseñas aprobadas pueden mostrarse públicamente junto con el nombre y la ciudad que proporcione. Podemos rechazar o eliminar contenido de usuarios a nuestra discreción; para solicitar la eliminación de su reseña, contáctenos.
El Servicio está en versión beta y se ofrece de forma gratuita mientras esté en beta. Las funciones pueden cambiar y el contenido se actualiza activamente.
Esta sección se finalizará antes de ofrecer cualquier función de pago. Cuando se lancen los planes de pago, el proceso de compra revelará claramente el precio, el período de facturación y si el plan se renueva automáticamente; usted aceptará afirmativamente esos términos antes de que se le cobre; recibirá una confirmación; y podrá cancelar en línea en cualquier momento. Las condiciones de reembolso se indicarán en el proceso de compra. Cumpliremos con las leyes aplicables de suscripción y renovación automática.

En la máxima medida permitida por la ley, LICENA no será responsable de daños indirectos, incidentales o consecuentes, ni de ninguna decisión que usted tome basándose en el Servicio. Nuestra responsabilidad total por cualquier reclamación se limita al monto que nos pagó por el Servicio en los 12 meses anteriores a la reclamación (o, durante la beta gratuita, USD $50).
Podemos suspender o cancelar el acceso por incumplimiento de estos Términos. Usted puede dejar de usar el Servicio y solicitar la eliminación de su cuenta en cualquier momento.
Podemos actualizar el Servicio y estos Términos. Para cambios sustanciales, publicaremos un aviso en el sitio o enviaremos un correo a los titulares de cuentas, y la fecha de «Última actualización» anterior cambiará. El uso continuado después de un cambio significa que acepta los Términos actualizados.
Estos Términos se rigen por las leyes del Estado de California, EE. UU., sin tener en cuenta las normas sobre conflictos de leyes. Названия ведомств используются только для обозначения экзаменов, к которым материалы помогают готовиться. Мы не проводим экзамены и не гарантируем, что вы сдадите какой-либо экзамен. Содержание предназначено только для общего обучения и информации и не является юридической, финансовой или профессиональной консультацией. Сервис и его содержание (кроме материалов третьих лиц или официальных источников, на которые он ссылается) принадлежат LICENA или её лицензиарам и защищены законом. Мы предоставляем вам персональную, непередаваемую лицензию на использование Сервиса для вашей собственной подготовки к экзаменам. Лежащие в основе законы, кодексы и государственные материалы остаются в общественном достоянии.
Ваш контент. Если вы оставляете отзыв или отправляете нам сообщение, вы подтверждаете, что он принадлежит вам и является законным, и предоставляете нам неисключительную, безвозмездную лицензию на его использование для работы и продвижения Сервиса — одобренные отзывы могут отображаться публично вместе с именем и городом, которые вы указали. Мы можем отклонить или удалить пользовательский контент по своему усмотрению; чтобы запросить удаление вашего отзыва, свяжитесь с нами.
Сервис находится в бета-версии и предоставляется бесплатно на время беты. Функции могут меняться, а содержание активно обновляется.

При запуске платных планов при оформлении заказа будет чётко указана цена, период оплаты и то, продлевается ли план автоматически; вы явно согласитесь с этими условиями до списания средств; вы получите подтверждение; и вы сможете отменить подписку онлайн в любое время. Условия возврата средств будут указаны при оформлении заказа. Мы будем соблюдать применимые законы о подписке и автоматическом продлении.
Сервис предоставляется «как есть» и «по мере доступности», без каких-либо гарантий, явных или подразумеваемых. Мы не гарантируем, что содержание является полным, актуальным или безошибочным, а также что использование Сервиса приведёт к сдаче какого-либо экзамена.
В максимальной степени, разрешённой законом, LICENA не несёт ответственности за любые косвенные, случайные или последующие убытки, а также за любое решение, которое вы принимаете на основе Сервиса. Наша общая ответственность по любой претензии ограничена суммой, которую вы заплатили нам за Сервис за 12 месяцев до претензии (или, во время бесплатной беты, 50 долларов США).
Мы можем приостановить или прекратить доступ за нарушение настоящих Условий. Вы можете прекратить использование Сервиса и запросить удаление учётной записи в любое время.
Мы можем обновлять Сервис и настоящие Условия. О существенных изменениях мы разместим уведомление на сайте или отправим владельцам учётных записей электронное письмо, и указанная выше дата «Последнее обновление» изменится. Продолжение использования после изменения означает принятие обновлённых Условий.
Настоящие Условия регулируются законами штата Калифорния, США, без учёта коллизионных норм. Перед подачей любой претензии вы соглашаетесь сначала связаться с нами и дать нам 30 дней на попытку неформального разрешения проблемы. Любой спор, не разрешённый неформально, будет передан исключительно в суды штата или федеральные суды, расположенные в округе Лос-Анджелес, Калифорния, и обе стороны признают их юрисдикцию; любая из сторон может вместо этого подать соответствующую претензию в суд мелких тяжб (small claims court).
Если какое-либо положение настоящих Условий будет признано неисполнимым, остальные положения останутся в силе. Настоящие Условия представляют собой полное соглашение между вами и LICENA в отношении Сервиса.
